GGs to my New York Knickerbockers on EARNING their first NBA championship since 1973!

This EPIC moment also brings my NY Sports Fan arc to a close, as I'm fortunate enough to have experienced a championship from all my favorite TEAMS!

Hopefully, the arc continues again with REPEATS and maybe multiple championships from different clubs inside the same year.

I guess the next milestone is a multi-club championship year or maybe a USMNT World Cup victory...👀

I WAS WRONG...and quite happily!

C4 E029 was an EPIC bait and switch by BLeeM. Most Critters expected a fight to go down at the Hollowed Round BUT instead combat ensued at House Tachonis, which was very kool with raised stakes! However, it's ONLY INTERMISSION at the Round and things could change next week.
(also, did Teor have enough movement to reach the Skeleton at the gate or did BLeeM just give it to him?)

Overall, the play description was beautiful. More fairy & Fey stuff please! Stone of Nightsong mystery is still unraveling. BLeeM explained in cooldown its function during the play, but it wasn't obvious during session - hopefully Vaelus learns more and provides insight in session.
(i know its way early in campaign but i still feel like Vaelus is last in line with roleplay "umph" and her story arc. It's also hard to watch a 1k year-old character know so little, or at least project that.)

And how about when Detect Magic was cast by Wick's sister with Bolaire right beside Wick? Unless I'm mistaken, Bolaire Mask is indeed magical, right? Should've been jig is up there, no? Gross oversight or did I miss something here?

The Sundered Houses meeting scene was PEAK. Lore connections and BLeeM flexing NPC voice & dialogue. Yet, too much NPCing takes away from PC moments to shine. Although, Tyranny did have the joke of the session in that scene with the goth reference, lmao. Also, Bolaire's sister is officially a wildcard now!

Kattigan Vale...rough and tough exterior but a true sad boy inside. WOW, to have the session bookended by his story arc was incredible.

C4 E028 was another MASTERCLASS from BLeeM, but how about the individual performances from the Cast - Sam, Ashley, Liam, & Marisha especially!
Many loose ends were tied in preparation for OPENING NIGHT at the Hollowed Round. Next week's show will be EPIC and I can only imagine how "West Marches" works when each table is in combat simultaneously (if it happens that way). Curious to see how BLeeM manages the shit show, lol.
The raw emotions from BLeeM and Cast were on point and really drove the narrative connections home! I particularly enjoyed the "melee' between Julien & Wick and the family moments between Hal & his kids - Thaisha's moments here noted but I expected more focused roleplay from Aabria, especially after the Lloy forge scene...maybe it will come up again and be more impactful next session.
Post Soldiers table, Thimble, Teor & Kat seem to be just going through the motions. Perhaps it's just in-game circumstances, or lack of combat, but I hope they factor in more sooner than later.
I also feel Taliesin & Luis have gone next level with their recent performances. They're connecting well each scene with everyone and really seem dialed into their characters!

As a Year 1 Destiny player, then Destiny 2 streamer/creator, I've stated during the peaks and valleys of development, how the prophetic writing has been on the wall for years revealing the inevitable decline of @Bungie & their iconic franchise of @DestinyTheGame

I've also stated recently on #ZEROHOURPODCAST how a petition alone will not change the direction #bungie & @Sony have decided and announced publicly regarding the Destiny IP. However, I want to offer my signature and declare my interest in wanting a #Destiny3 developed, or at the very least, an acknowledgment from studio executives they underestimated the desires of the Destiny Community.

I believe the latter is more feasible to come about in the near-term, and if so, I would hope this would prompt an overhaul of the mismanagement that has plagued the studios, which has led us all here today. Let me be clear, I would love to see D3 or other Destiny-related projects, BUT if current leadership is left in place, then no true change in BIG DEV ideology will occur.

The removal of whoever walked the studios down this egregious path MUST be removed and replace with positive, people first, team building, transparent, humble LEADERS who WILL NOT allow grossly inflated financial projections, crude bottom-line analysis, EGO, GREED & weakness to subvert what the CONSUMER desires; what can INDEED be profitable; what can retain and promote jobs; and overall just what makes COMMON SENSE.

C4 E027 Having the entire cast present for a gauntlet of roleplay was amazing to watch! The pacing or call/response between everyone was PEAK! Even those who didn't speak as much, did so as by their character disposition. The eventual splitting of the Party into new separate Groups was a welcomed change of pace as well.
Overall, the "fun factor" increased exponentially this episode. Each Group visit to tie-up loose ends or gain discovery before the BIG DAY at The Hollowed Round (which we all know is gunna be BANGER!) was truly immersive and perhaps the best interactions between BLeem & Cast.
Lol, BLeem still can't get the outro right either....still!

Writing on the wall has been there for years...

PRO TIP: Invest your time & money into games from studios who truly support their employees and actually listen to the Community.

I'd love to see new leadership emerge from Bungie and announce a Destiny 3 down the road, however, I'm not holding my breath.

Hopefully, the industry will look at what happened over the years and learn valuable lessons; especially inside Bungie and at Sony as well, but I doubt it...prove me wrong AAA C-Suites...prove me wrong.
