My main takeaway from voting in the DC elections this time around is that I was absolutely right to vote against ranked choice voting as a ballot initiative. The process is now 7000% more confusing.

Fahd Abu Haikal was driving through Hebron last week when he spotted a group of Israeli soldiers.
He began to slow down, but one of the soldiers raised his rifle & opened fire.
One bullet pierced the windshield, striking his son, Sam, in the head.
He was just 7 months old -- the 13th child to be killed by Israeli security forces in the West Bank so far this year.
The IDF says it is investigating the shooting.

@BradWilcoxIFS That time away impacts raises, it impacts career progression. It might even mean leaving your job, if you can’t get the time off you need. But the time off itself is an issue. If a woman has multiple children, this happens multiple times in her life.
