@_myfriendryan Sorta? It's odd placement because the road is right on the run instead of the homesites being right on the run, so I'm not 100% sure how it'll work out for the owners. They're also developing the old golf course below the base with a bunch of home sites.

.@SkiEaglePoint says the Cottonwood Fire torched 300 of 600 skiable acres, damaged 4 of 5 lifts, burned several resort buildings and destroyed more than 130 condos/cabins. One lift, the main lodge and snowmaking infrastructure survived.

@liftblog I'm curious to see how it all fits together. The road they're building is taking up about half the run right now (all the stuff north of Crocket). They already have fire hydrants, electrical, etc. going in for the commercial/residential stuff.

Yo, @liftblog, any idea what Nordic Valley's lift plans are? Was hiking up there today and saw that they've started to dismantle Crocket. There's a ton of dirt work going in the same area for what looks like residential so couldn't tell if some was for new towers or anything.

@liftblog Makes sense, they've just let them fall and smashed up the tops pretty well, so they didn't appear to be thinking about relocating / reusing. Any word on other plans? Will it just be Bridger next season for the beginner area or was a replacement hinted at?

@ozskier @mrjordanbentley The only other water storage they have is a small pond on the old golf course land. We'll see what happens to that as more roads get built.

@mrjordanbentley @ozskier I wondered that too, but I still haven't seen them mention the water storage tank even in their posts about snowmaking upgrades. And then with the same number of guns running this year as previous years, makes me wonder if the tank is more related to the residential work.

@ozskier I think water may be another of their challenges, not sure how much more they have access to. They have a decent number of guns, but I've never seen them run more than ~5 at a time. Water in the valley is already a tricky subject.
