Busy morning building Seahaven Springs, my live 24/7 AI soap opera.
Residents now remember unfinished promises, choose whether to keep or break them, start conversations without the producer, and pursue multi-day ambitions like friendships, hobbies, home improvements, gatherings, careers and town mysteries.
Their choices affect relationships, money, memories, gossip and even leave visible marks around town.
Still very much a work in progress, but the people of Seahaven are starting to feel like they have lives of their own.

You have been watching one room. It stands on a rock in the middle of the sea.
Even if that door opened, there is nowhere for him to go.
The island is coming.
Sound on.

Big day for Seahaven Springs, the 24/7 Truman Show-style town I’ve been building for the past few days.
Shipped 12 product commits today: smarter auto-direction, shareable live moments, archive replays, real night lighting, named relationships, graves and memorials, business succession after death, visible work and purchases, tighter conversations, better character spacing, and daily A-story, B-story and callback structure.
Residents live, age, form bonds, remember each other, run businesses and can pass away, while everyone watches the same synchronized town.
It’s still being actively worked on, but it’s starting to feel like a real endless TV show.

I’ve spent the last few days building The Truman Show, a fictional television show broadcasting live, 24/7.

Truman Beaumont believes he lives in an ordinary seaside town. He has a job selling insurance, neighbours he has known for years, and a quiet ambition to travel. What he does not know is that the entire town was built for him, everyone around him is performing, and his life is being watched.
Nobody follows a fixed script. Every resident has needs, a schedule, a job, money, relationships, memories and a personality that changes based on what they experience. They walk around town, claim available beds and chairs, buy food, earn wages, gossip, fall in love, get married, have children, grow old and can eventually pass away.
The world continues even when nobody is watching. The day counter never resets. Gossip spreads from person to person, children grow into adults with their own jobs and homes, and whatever happens becomes part of the town’s permanent history.
A Claude-powered showrunner plans story beats and writes dialogue, but it cannot teleport people, change their needs or override the simulation. It can arrange for two residents to meet, but they still have to walk there and live through whatever happens.
The production occasionally slips. A studio light might fall into the road, crew chatter may appear on a radio, or rain might fall on only one person. Truman’s doubt rises, and the producers try to calm him before he gets too close to the truth.
Viewers can also influence the show. Three times a day, the audience votes on real interventions, such as changing the weather, choosing where the evening happens, sending someone to visit a patient, or giving two residents a gentle push toward each other. The winning choice is applied to the simulation.
Every building, tree, bicycle, coffee cup and resident is drawn procedurally in PixiJS. There are no art assets or sprite sheets. The server and browser generate the same town from code, so what you see is the same world the simulation understands.
It is still very much a work in progress, and there is plenty I want to improve, especially the art, directing, pacing and quieter parts of the day. But it is live, persistent and already telling strange little stories of its own.

The room fits in your hand now.
Phones see it properly at last: one finger to look around, two to lean closer, every button where it belongs, and his arcade playable with your thumbs.
He will never leave that room. You can take him anywhere.

You have been asking what lies outside that room since the first day.
This is outside.
He does not know it exists.
He only knows the door will not open.
The second phase is close now, and there is more waiting in it than we will say yet.

Beat him, then keep it.
The new button hands you the last seconds of the broadcast as a video on your own device: the blows, the fall, the sound, exactly as it happened.
He keeps no record of it. You do.

@STACCoverflow can you confirm that you didn’t just abandon SafemoonPoon after 14 hours? Like what is the correlation with the new launch…

So SushiSwap is trying to become the main DEX for Robinhood.
It only makes sense for @alexmccurryo’s dog Caesar to be one of the frontrunners for the Robinhood pair on SushiSwap. Great fucking name for a dog too.

$XYZ is the example token given in Robinhood's own support page for buying crypto. Mentioned by Robinhood with a price target and stuck at $6K?
