A Florida federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit brought by Defense Distributed against people in the 3D gun community over "the widespread circulation of the 'FEDCAD' meme": https://t.co/yd4KVY0Cy9
@The_Aveees I’ll admit I was pretty short sided when it came to that original lawsuit… then again I couldn’t predict that RB would take a deal with the govt. even though their case was a slam dunk win… and the deal “required” them to go after anyone who was a competitor. Fuck them forever
I’ve received many questions about applying this to real firearms, so here’s my answer.
Firearm ownership is restricted in Japan, but ballistic data is publicly available, so the system includes profiles for several handgun and rifle rounds—purely as a joke.
Examples include 9×19mm , .45 ACP, 5.56mm NATO, and 7.62mm NATO.
When switched to “live-ammo mode,” the ballistic engine switches to a completely different calculation and renders trajectories up to 2,000 meters.
That said, I’ve never actually used it, so whether it’s accurate is anyone’s guess.
I can’t wait for all the idiots who waited for no tax stamps to wait a year to get thier YHM turbo K’s
It’s day 1. Wait till it’s 30 days in and all the budget I’m gonna print it / make it for 20 dollars join that list.
LOL
@AGCast4 I totally remember those “fuck twinbros” sales by a couple of the manufacturers.
I never like to judge a person‘s IQ by the way they speak, but judging by Cameron‘s actions I can confidently say that he is as dumb as he sounds
@AGCast4@gunfuzled@HoffmanTactical@eXverze In your defense, no one actually knew that they were going down the path of “I created this so I’m trying to patent it”. I remembered graves was coming after a lot of people for the super safety design saying that it was stolen work but he quite literally does that with everyone
@eXverze@HoffmanTactical@gunfuzled I vividly remember they’re being a twitter “space” where a bunch of people came together on a voice chat to talk about the situation. Cameron came in and was talking about the situation as well. If you can find out who set up the space, there should be an archive of the audio
