@PSATitleGore @smarttrain The transfer times are about 20min. For anyone who is interested there is an orange shuttle van you can reserve ahead of time to take you between the train and ferry or you can walk on without a reservation as space allows.

@fuswp @smarttrain All the lights at the crossing are red including the city traffic lights and the railroad flashers. It’s green after the crossing to clear traffic. It’s green ahead of the crossing to let you fill in the area before the crossing. The city controls the traffic lights.

@flanagancan I think the train track alignment was there before the civic center was built. SMART took over the current alignment. Trains are not good for making 90 degree turns.

@Endoftheroast @SantaRosaPolice Faster and cheaper then firing up the helicopter or calling in the copter crew if they are off duty. But it cannot rescue people so still need the copter.
