- NIV 221g are backlog.
- routine visa is not backlog

@curtisatlaw even though the document says that H1 cases can be processed for those who are exempted, embassies are not honouring that. We are being told that exemptions for H1 will only be considered when we will resume "routine visa operations". I hope that's not Dec31!

@ckuck Respectfully disagree. Aside from returning H-1Bs and L-1s, a lot of discretion still on the part of examiners in the H-1B, L-1 and H-2 and not very easy standards. And the J-1s got nothing.

Americans can visit my country but I cannot. As a holder of an H1B visa, I cannot reenter the US if I travel outside the country, thanks to Trump’s ban on H1B visas.
