This morning we arrested and federally charged a Honduran national for unlawfully registering to vote in California and falsely claiming to be a U.S. citizen.

Darwin Jonathan Rivera Flores, 30, of Winnetka, is charged with two felonies and faces deportation if convicted.

Because states like California allow non-citizens to easily register to vote and receive a ballot by mail, there is no telling how many non-citizens are currently registered.

It is time for California to comply with @AAGDhillon’s request for a comprehensive audit of its voter rolls to protect the integrity of our elections.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

their responses continue to smuggle the assumption that every knows, the biological separation between man and woman, and yet they defend a policy that undermines their argument and refuses to define and recognize what constitutes each sex by defaulting to the anything goes concept of "gender", which is an open invitation to anyone that meets the criteria, including men claiming they're women

their objection to kanter, is the same objection every sane person has had since the social contagion of gender and trans entered the zeitgeist

which is its absurd that a man just declares them self a woman and is therefore a woman and entitled to enter women's spaces and sports

if you reduce sex to a costume called gender, and let anyone put it on, by your own policy, then you can't be upset when someone you don't like or don't believe does it, as you have created that space altogether

the wnba either has to amend league policy to remove this flaw in policy, or be hoisted by their own petard by enforcing their policy with selective prejudicial application, which is discrimination under equal application of the law

if they keep the policy they are discriminating, if they are discriminant in what constitutes a woman, by biology, then the problem takes care of itself, and the loophole is closed and any subsequent arguments about genuine claims vs exploitation disappear altogether

but right now we have wnba players bashing eligible draft members who are just following the policy the wnba players are defending, that doesn’t even agree with their objections
