Pros of Iraloa at Liverpool
1. He requires a high level of fitness and running from players.
2. He wants to get chances as quickly as possible.
3. Seems to have a good defensive shape when OOP
4. Isak and Wirtz could benifit from him
Hopefully the players all buy in
@FabrizioRomano I mean iraloa might suit him Cheisa did ok when games got a little hectic. Wasn't good at the Slow tempo football.
Maybe Iraloa will give him a proper chance..
Nice lad and I would love for him to be a success at the club not leave as a failure.
@ti_tatu@Corballyred ๐คฃ Klopp trusted him to warm the bench
He got his most game time under Slot or have you forgotten that.
Klopp promoted him but never trusted him to be a starter in the squad. Played a bit part role unless it was to rest somebody else or due to injury then he played.
@HelloBenWhite@bethTmufc She's also not taking into account inflation walker was 50 million in 2017. You aren't getting walker for that piece these days he would have been substantially more expensive
I'm not one for sentimental value or players thinking they are bigger than they are.
If this is true where Rio has had conversations behind the Clubs back wanting to get a move, this shows to me as a 17 year old he is going to develop a massive ego.
๐จ๐ฃBayern had reached a full verbal agreement with Ngumoha and his camp on Tuesday, 26 May
However, the deal collapsed yesterday, Thursday, for the time being (@Plettigoal)
@nugss_ STFU he didn't get an opportunity under Klopp either. Appearance in a cup game here and there same as what Slot gave him.
He may be talented but does he take the team to a higher level...no
Is he better than what we already have....no
So what exactly do people expect?
@50shadesofLizie 1. They didn't let Slot spend 400 without making 200m+ plus from selling players
2. Slot also didn't spend it he's a head coach Hughes was responsible for the spending
3. Liverpool's net spend was lower than Arsenals in the same window.
Hughes was responsible for the business
@Gbemiga__A I don't believe it myself.
As soon as he was gone all these character assassination pieces have come thick and fast.
This one's coming from the guy who said Alonso was definitely coming to Liverpool only for it to come out that Liverpool never seriously considered him ๐คฃ
@salahfavala@Gbemiga__A ๐คฃ๐คฃ
Elliot wasn't even in the team long enough to have a problem
Morton as well.
Chiesa was useless whenever he got a chance
Rio had no issues with Slot at all
Salah had issues because he was rightfully dropped
And Jones was lucky to play
You're talking absolute crap
Literally giving him the job because he's being compared to Klopp and the heavy metal football ๐คฃ
The compassions will not stop and will get worse.
We're in the "Not as good as Fergie" cycle United went into because our fans are idiots who think they are smart.
Slot following on from Klopp was the hardest job in the world, and he came out of it with a league title. Iraola is in a much better position succeeding Slot, not just because of the season weโve just had but because hopefully now the comparisons with Klopp can stop.
Itโs annoying to see the narrative that Arne Slotโs style of play was not front foot taking hold.
It was, but conditions last season made it impossible to play.
On the flip side, with those conditions lifted, Andoni Iraola can hit the ground running.
I canโt wait #YNWA
Win the league and get champions league in his first two seasons.
They are the standards Slot met and still got sacked so anything less and he should be gone as well
@FabrizioRomano No his plan is to bring in players who have run their contracts down because they are a cheap Club these days.
Won't actually put their money where their mouth is anymore so they look for players they can get for free ๐คฃ
This is proof that when fans moaned about Slot like they knew better than the club and the manager/coach that the fans actually know nothing.
Bournemouth never had to play 2-3 games a week. They'll be so burnt out without a break ๐คฃ
We have idiots in our fanbase
@Succedervictor No the fans hated on Gakpo all season long because they wanted to see more Rio and Gakpo was in his way.
They wanted to moan about Gakpo until he was dropped so Rio could play more only for that to never happen.
Had Rio not been there the hate on Gakpo would have never happened
@SamueILFC Yeah they played 1 game a week ๐คฃ if the players don't get a break playing 2-3 times a week almost you can guarantee the players will burn out
Until you have a bad run and the fans will be out with pitchforks calling for your head like a bunch of spoilt brats thinking success should be handed to you and not earned.
Getting too big headed is what got United in the situation they are in thought they were untouchable
๐จ Andoni Iraola: โI am really excited, really excited. Because obviously you know about Liverpool, you know that itโs a big club, a massive club, one of the biggest in the worldโ.
โBut feeling inside and understanding a little bit more of this club, I always thought itโs a special club. You donโt need a lot of things to get attracted by Liverpool. Liverpool is Liverpoolโ
โBut obviously the atmosphere, the supporters, the club, the players, the chance for me to coach top-level players, the chance to fight for titles. I think it cannot be more attractive than this. Itโs difficult to find it. So, really excited to startโ.
@chris1996lfc Where were all these agents months ago ?
No sources mentioned just heresay
Random stories coming out as soon as the manager gets sacked
Probably some attempt to make the players look like less of the problem and putting it all on the manager. Keep your players value in tact
Same guy who said Alonso was a shoe in for the Liverpool job.
Clearly this guy knows little.
Also why are all these internal comments coming out like they were in the dressing room or at training themselves. Rumours being reported as facts taking cheap shots at Slot
๐ฅ | @AxelHesse1: Arne Slot alienated some of his Liverpool players with bizarre comments, with objective criticism becoming mixed with arrogance and personally barbs.
For example, he needled summer signings with questions like, "Did you win the Premier League?"
โWhen analyzing players with Bundesliga experience, he made comments along the lines of, "You can play like that in Germany."
