@ExoGhost Your personal “Skill” rating gets collected with the test of your team, so each team’s skill rating averages out equally to try and make it a “close” game.

Kinda makes sense when you massively outweigh the rest of your team. SBMM is based on your team to make a close W/L ratio.

@ExoGhost I have a theory. A “perfect” SBMM formula would theoretically make it so every game you have is “close” and therefore close to 50% win/loss chance.

So SBMM makes it so your W/L ratio sticks as close to 1.0 as possible, even if it means under skilled teammates.
