أكد معالي وزير الأوقاف والإرشاد الشيخ تركي بن عبدالله الوادعي @1turki0 أن ما يُعرف بـ"الاحتفال بيوم الغدير" في الثامن عشر من شهر ذي الحجة من كل عام يعد من البدع المحدثة التي لا أصل لها في كتاب الله ولا في سنة رسوله صلى الله عليه وسلم، مشددًا على أن الشريعة الإسلامية قد اكتملت ببعثة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، وأن كل عبادة أو مناسبة دينية يُتقرب بها إلى الله دون دليل شرعي تعد مردودة على صاحبها.

وأوضح الوزير أن الله سبحانه وتعالى أكمل الدين وأتم النعمة على الأمة، مستشهدًا بقوله تعالى: ﴿اليوم أكملت لكم دينكم وأتممت عليكم نعمتي ورضيت لكم الإسلام دينًا﴾، كما استشهد بقول النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: «من عمل عملًا ليس عليه أمرنا فهو رد»، وقوله: «كل بدعة ضلالة»، مبينًا أن الاحتفال بيوم الغدير لم يعرفه الصحابة رضي الله عنهم ولا التابعون ولا القرون المفضلة، ولو كان مشروعًا لكان أولى الناس بالعمل به علي بن أبي طالب والحسن والحسين وسائر أهل بيت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم.

وأشار الوادعي إلى أن المؤرخين ذكروا أن أول من أظهر الاحتفال بيوم الغدير وجعله شعيرة عامة هو معز الدولة البويهي سنة 352هـ، مبينًا أن الاستدلال بحديث: «من كنت مولاه فعلي مولاه» على أنه نص في الخلافة والإمامة استدلال غير صحيح، لأن الحديث ورد في سياق بيان فضل علي رضي الله عنه ومحبته ونصرته بعد ما أثير حوله من شكاوى أثناء عودته من اليمن، كما أن لفظ "المولى" في اللغة العربية يحمل معاني متعددة لا تنحصر في الإمامة أو الحكم.

وأكد معالي الوزير أن الإسلام أبطل دعاوى التفاخر بالأنساب والأعراق، وجعل معيار التفاضل بين الناس هو التقوى والعمل الصالح، مستشهدًا بقوله تعالى: ﴿إن أكرمكم عند الله أتقاكم﴾، داعيًا المسلمين إلى التمسك بالكتاب والسنة وفهم السلف الصالح، وتعظيم مكانة أهل بيت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وفق ما جاءت به الشريعة دون غلو أو جفاء، والحفاظ على وحدة الأمة ونبذ الأفكار السلالية والعنصرية التي تتعارض مع مقاصد الإسلام وقيمه العادلة.

Libya’s Grand Mufti, Sheikh Sadiq Gharyani, has sharply criticized the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR), saying the organization is operating illegally in the country and is primarily working to resettle migrants in Libya as a means of shielding Europe from the migration crisis.

In remarks made on Wednesday, the Grand Mufti urged Libyan authorities to expel the UNHCR “immediately,” describing its presence as unlawful.

Sheikh Gharyani called on the Ministries of Labor and Interior to rigorously enforce existing laws governing migrant workers.

He stressed that every foreign worker must possess a valid registration card, health certificates, and complete legal documentation.

At the same time, the top religious cleric warned against rising calls for violence against migrants, describing such actions as religiously impermissible.

“Individual acts of mob violence lead to endless harm and corruption, and the international community may exploit them to achieve its own objectives in Libya,” he cautioned.

It seems your answer to all this is that between 2014-2017, all Uyghurs magically decided to abandon practices and traditions observed for centuries and became entirely secular, purely by choice. That there was no Strike Hard Campaign, no restrictions on standard Islamic practice, no arbitrary mass-detention of Uyghurs, no mandatory boarding school initiatives stripping Uyghur kids from their parents. To that, you say it's all "Adrian Zenz propaganda", even though Uyghur refugees, the UN, and international human rights orgs have all reported on this.

The fact is, you were pushing the ahistorical "Uyghurs have always loved Chinese rule" line well-before you went on your propaganda tour to occupied East Turkistan. You went there to document whatever was convenient for you. You were not allowed to speak with the detainees in the internment camps, but even if you were allowed, and saw the abuses firsthand, you would choose not to report on them because you are not an independent journalist. You went to my homeland with the express intent to coverup the human rights abuses of Uyghurs.

There have been independent travelers who have gone to occupied East Turkistan. While they are unable to confirm everything or interview detainees due to China's strict control over what they can see, they have documented some of the restrictions that have been reported by Uyghurs. Perhaps they are a little more observant than you. Perhaps they didn't have an agenda. Maybe both:
