TechDroider's battery life test between several phones shows that the iPhone 15 Pro Max is the new battery life champ!
🥇 iPhone 15 Pro Max (10h31m)
🥈 Galaxy S23 Ultra (10h27m)
🥉 Xiaomi 13 Ultra (10h)
4. iPhone 14 Pro Max (9h59m)
5. OnePlus 11 (9h48m)
6. Pixel 7 Pro (8h13m)
iPhone 15 Pro takes 24MP photos by default, without any hit to the shutter speed or processing speed!
Plus, the 24MP file size is still smaller than 12MP shots taken by other phones.
This is why they say, “Apple does things late, but it does them right”.
Phones have had high MP sensors for a while now, but all of them shoot in ~12MP by default, unless you dive into a special mode.
iPhone 15 Pro takes photos with twice the resolution without any compromise.
While I don’t think that Apple does things right 100% of the time when being late, it still does so quite frequently.
Thoughts?
Samsung's astrophotography mode in Expert RAW projects a starmap onto the sky with up to a 10 minute timer for photos
That's the coolest one I've seen yet

S20: No variable aperture.
S21: No MicroSD, No QHD, Plastic back, no curved display, no vapor chamber, no ToF.
S22: Smaller battery, no heat pipe.

Samsung downgrades something every year.
My current phone usage:
45% iPhone14 Pro
30% Fold4
25% S22 Ultra+Other
Before I knew it, the iPhone had become my main phone.
Of course, everything is changing.
Next I am interested in Find N2, Mi 13 (not Pro) and vivo X90 Pro+
The shutter lag of the S22 Ultra is well known, and there are still Samsung fans to defend it. Samsung has such fans, it's really a misfortune, and the people who accelerated Samsung's demise.
