Meeting with future researchers (maybe?) in Muriel-les-leziers! The 3D printing of objects from #biobasedmaterials, such as those developed in the SMARTPOP Project, has been highly successful, as has our international collaboration in this field with @scion_research
We had the privilege to hosting Ambassador of France to New Zealand @Laurence_Beau and Embassy of France in New Zealand head of culture, education and science, Eric Soulier last week. This visit highlights Scion's strengthening relationship with France.

Thank you Amy for the job you did with us @scion_research during your internship in the framework of the @Smartpop_eu project
It was really nice having you to work on the development of #sustainable#biobased powders for #SLS printing.
The work carried out in collaboration with @scion_research and the @iatelab was presented yesterday at the #GCMM2002 conference in Auckland by Claire @Mayer_Laigle. The presentation led to an interesting discussion around composite biobased materials for additive manufacturing.
Welcome to Amy Xu, Summer student at @scion_research who joined our team for her internship. Her work will aim to combine chemical engineering approaches and machine learning tools to optimize the production process of bio-based powder for Selective laser sintering.
Nice time this morning at Lynmore School (Rotorua,NZ). Rob and I spoke about sustainability, biobased materials and 3D printing. Pupils were very enthusiastic. Happy to have shared the work done in the @Smartpop_eu funded by @MSCActions ; @INRAE_Intl@scion_research
Glad to share our first paper published in Open Research Europe : Properties of biomass powders resulting from the fine comminution of lignocellulosic feedstocks by three types of ball-mill set-up, https://t.co/uCYDTTllPT

To promote the transition to a circular #plastics economy, a clear policy framework is needed on the use of biobased, biodegradable & compostable plastics.
@EU_Commission wants to hear your views on its roadmap: https://t.co/PuoJGnx5gt
