You can also come to the same solution that Lottery A has better value by taking the difference between 5% and 0.01% (which is 500) then dividing 90,000 by 500 which gives you 180 (Meaning if you played Lottery B for the same 5% odds you would win $180 instead of $200)

You can multiply 200 by 5% and see you get a value of ~10
Whereas multiplying 90,000 by 0.01% gives you a value of ~9
Lottery A is statistically better and for Lottery B to be the same value or better the prize needs to be >100,000
