The subnet slot is transitioning into more experienced hands. The incoming team is well known within the Bittensor ecosystem, has previously operated subnets, and is supported by one of the most significant funds in the Bittensor ecosystem. I’m genuinely happy that it is this particular team taking the slot forward.
Operating a subnet is effectively running a standalone startup, requiring constant focus on delegation dynamics, validators, emissions, marketing, and execution. After building and supporting sn103 through its early phase, I believe it can achieve materially more under a team whose core expertise is subnet execution and growth.
For transparency:
• I have never sold a single alpha token.
• 100% of the accumulated alpha emission is transferred together with the slot.
This transition reflects my belief that focused and specialized operators can unlock the next phase more effectively.
