@Zorklis@TheIshikawaRin I mean yes, they are competitors in the sense that Valve & Epic would each like you to buy Random Game 3 on their store instead of the other one. But they're not competing by trading exclusives like Sony & Nintendo.
@Zorklis@TheIshikawaRin If a game is available on Steam but not EGS, that is the publisher's choice, because Valve don't pay for exclusivity deals like Epic does.
If you're calling something like Forza Horizon 6 their answer because it's not on EGS, that's just MS not wanting to sell it on EGS.

@uwukko@jmeller@1Password I'm sure it's just a case of restoring from rolling backups. ISO 27001 compliance and the like require you to have immutable backups.
@FyreFry8@AliceThePurple I noticed them today too but I swear I flew past there and didn't see them until now, maybe it's a new bug? Or maybe it depends on someone else in your phase doing the quest recently?
@ItsBobbySocks At least it's (relatively) harder to do because those two games charge a subscription, so player counts translate directly to revenue. With Destiny you can skip the pass & expansion and still play, if I unsubscribe from WoW I can't play any character above level 20.
@bettersafetynet Conversely, OV certificates *do not* inherit publisher reputation. The publisher certificate reputation is bound to the certificate there. So you either face the same issue again or have to renew early and cross-sign for a while.
@bettersafetynet As others said EV doesn't bypass/preseed SmartScreen with good reputation, but at least EV allows you to carry publisher reputation across certificates, so this shouldn't happen much in the future, even when you renew/reissue the EV cert.
@AIsmaiil52617@GeForce_JacobF@MKBHD Well yeah, the chip & devices aren't out until fall 2026.
Either way, NVIDIA had their logo on stage as an announced partner. It's probably safe to assume it will be supported.
