Oh? Is Dvalin yawning? Then here, try some apple cake! One bite and you'll be feeling refreshed in no time!
Well? Good, isn't it? I went out of my way to learn this recipe from the Traveler.
Ahaha, no need to rush... We made plenty. Here, have an apple cookie too.
Looks like Dvalin likes my cooking... You'll have to teach me another dessert recipe sometime. Or maybe we should call it, "One Hundred Ways to Make Apples"?
The Tiffany Diamond is one of the most iconic gemstones in modern history, symbolizing luxury, artistry, and timeless elegance.
Discovered in 1877 in South Africa, the rough stone weighed an astonishing 287.42 carats before being purchased by Tiffany & Co founder Charles Lewis Tiffany.
It was then cut into a spectacular 128.54 carat yellow diamond, maximizing its brilliance and fire.
Over the decades, the diamond became a cultural icon, showcased in high profile events and worn by legends such as Audrey #Hepburn during promotional imagery for “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” and later by #Beyoncé at major modern events.
Today, the Tiffany Diamond remains a symbol of craftsmanship and prestige, representing the pinnacle of high jewelry design. #TiffanyDiamond #TiffanyAndCo #LuxuryJewelry #DiamondHistory #HighJewelry #IconicJewels #JewelryDesign #TimelessElegance
René Lalique’s Dragonfly Woman: The Most Famous Art Nouveau Jewel.
Among all Art Nouveau jewels, the Dragonfly Woman Corsage Ornament created by René Lalique around 1898 is considered the most iconic.
This extraordinary masterpiece combines a woman’s face with the wings and body of a dragonfly, symbolizing beauty, mystery, and transformation.
Crafted from gold, enamel, diamonds, and precious stones, it perfectly reflects the Art Nouveau movement’s fascination with nature and fantasy.
Commissioned by the celebrated patron Sarah #Bernhardt, the jewel broke away from traditional jewelry design by emphasizing artistic expression over material value.
Today, it remains one of the greatest symbols of the Liberty (Art Nouveau) style and a testament to Lalique’s revolutionary vision. #ArtNouveau #LibertyStyle #ReneLalique #HistoricJewelry #JewelryHistory #LuxuryJewels #DragonflyWoman #BelleEpoque #ArtHistory #Masterpiece

The Winged Victory of Samothrace has stood at the top of the Louvre’s main staircase since 1884 and remains one of its most stunning works. Carved around 190 BC, the statue depicts Nike, the Greek goddess of victory, touching down on the bow of a warship.
Her head and arms are gone, but the drapery work is what draws most of the attention. The thin fabric of her tunic clings to her torso and thighs, pressed flat by the force of the wind, while the heavier mantle flares outward behind her. The sculptor treated the two fabrics completely differently, and the contrast between them gives the figure an almost physical sense of movement.
The statue was found on the island of Samothrace in 1863 by a French diplomat, who shipped the figure to the Louvre but left the surrounding grey marble blocks behind, not recognizing them as the ship-shaped base. Austrian archaeologists figured that out more than a decade later, and the full monument was eventually reassembled in Paris.
It's carved in white Parian marble and stands nearly three meters tall on its own, one of the very few major Hellenistic originals to survive rather than being known only through Roman copies.
Among the most iconic Art Deco jewels ever created is the legendary #Patiala Necklace by Cartier.
Commissioned in 1928 for the Maharaja of Patiala, this extraordinary masterpiece featured nearly 3,000 diamonds, including the famous De Beers diamond, one of the largest polished diamonds in the world at the time.
Combining geometric Art Deco design with the opulence of 🇮🇳 #Indian royal treasures, the necklace became a symbol of luxury, innovation, and cultural exchange.
Although it disappeared for decades before parts of it were rediscovered and restored, the Patiala Necklace remains one of the most celebrated creations in the history of high jewelry. #ArtDeco #Cartier #PatialaNecklace #JewelryHistory #Maharaja #HighJewelry #LuxuryHistory #Diamonds #RoyalJewels #ArtDecoJewelry #VintageJewelry #Gemstones #CartierStyle #IndianRoyalty #IconicJewels @Cartier@DeBeers
