Related to the #poachers on our property: any good budget friendly recs for trail cameras? To catch the poachers? Forget trespassing, this is worse. And they were in our backyard chasing a deer to scope it out. Which is horrifying Multiple adults & two different sized kids shoes.

It seems like the herd got away, unlike the two does & a buck that got left at the edge of wood by the state road. The buck in bad condition, as they took the buck’s head as a trophy, left the does and the buck’s body. It felt like serial killer behavior, tbh.3/3

I loved the #floridasnow. Though I didn’t get to see cool deer tracks the way I find them in the sand, despite the herd coming through. Someone was using deer-trained dogs. Technically not illegal, but #poaching on our property, dogs or not, IS illegal. 1/3

I’ve a lot of feelings about this, & I’m just mad. There is a broken and bent part of the property fence. No one asked to hunt on our property. No one did anything to see if we’d be alright for them to WALK UP TO A STONE’S THROW from our house tracking deer! 2/3
