@HpoolCouncil It’s an additional charge. It was previously included within the council tax payment. So those who pay it, pay more for same service. Those who don’t pay it are paying the same for a worse service.

Hey @MartinSLewis how can @ScottishPower get away with their smart meters giving false readings? They are still showing old tariff rates so people do not know the exact amount they are using. Just found out we used an extra £100 last month compared to what smart meter showed.
