We are a small maple syrup, pick your own raspberry, and blue berry farm. We love politics, video games, farming, and dreaming about equipment purchases.
@nuclearoptionvg I like the idea of the F-5 analog that someone had earlier, but even something like an F86 equivalent would be pretty interesting. If you wanted to go even earlier something inspired by either the Grumman Bearcat or Tiger Cat would be pretty cool.
@nuclearoptionvg I think you go outside the box with a laser based, active protection system. It would be automatic, limited use, but allow the craft to hang in contested air space.
@nuclearoptionvg For your humble consideration, a moderized/evolved Douglas A2D Skyshark. Turboprop attack plane, helicopter dogfihhter, armored to a fair thee well, dynamic and agile to mix it up with the Compases.
@antonwsantos This is some combination of speaking with someone being a better lead, and the JP Morgan classic, "if you have to ask it is to expensive for you."
@EconTalker@Fred_Kirsch@pfwpaul As two of my original favorite podcasts going back to 2007 the PFW crew should do a collaboration with Russ Roberts and Econtalk talking about the Patriots. Russ's take on the dynasty in Wild Problems was very interesting.
@EconTalker just finished Wild Problems across a session of yard work, and a day of farm work. It is a fantastic piece of work. As a summary of the intellectual work that you have laid out for listeners since 2008 I have to say it was marvelous.
deal with the public health issue. Similarly, prontests should be allowed even though they endanger others besides the protestors. The argument that "externalities" justify limits on freedom is a very dangerous sword. We see it live right now, playing out on the streets. 3/n
@EconTalker Have a restful holiday. I was sorry to hear about the loss of your father. The content you produce continues to be an entertaining, illuminating, resource.

We had a very “pretty” snow storm Wednesday night. Mother Nature put frosting on the trees and the wood pile.
Of course, it plowed just about the same way as an “ugly” snow storm does. 60 degrees last Sunday and 3 degrees this morning.
Wood splitting rests never! So, on this sunny Boxing Day, we split wood, much to the dismay of Tavi, who was only happy when the neighbor spaniel came to play!
Lots of recanning work to be done today. 40 quarts for one order alone! You know the grandkids are getting old when they are allowed to write date codes on containers and to put caps on! Check out the last photo for a sneak peek at our latest experiment!

This past week end we worked on covering our old green house in the back yard. The two layers of plastic have to be changed every four years or so.
We used to grow all our transplants for the 10 acre... https://t.co/6BLLcnGyqY
