Wynyard has taken the colts title 11.6 (72) over Latrobe 10.9 (69), after an enthralling final quarter battle
Looking forward to a great day of football to cap off the season!
It’s exciting to see North-West born and bred businessman Grant O’Brien is poised to become the inaugural chairperson of the Tasmanian AFL team! By all accounts, it seems it ‘would be hard to find a better fit than Grant’.

As Tasmania earns its place at football’s highest level, there has been speculation of how this will affect the state’s grassroots competitions. While support for a state-based AFL team is high, country football hopes to ‘remain part of the conversation’.

There was a palpable sense of excitement when speaking to four of the Coast’s young Tasmania Devils players, who feel their AFL and AFLW dreams are now closer than ever with the national competition set to be in their backyard for the first time!
All ready for a start here at West Park with Burnie hosting Latrobe for the round five NWFL clash. Both teams are donning special playing kits in honour of Anzac Day! Looking forward to an exciting match 🤞🏽
It’s been a big day of footy here on the Coast!
We’re in the final term of the Tasmania Devils’ opening match of the 2023 Coates Talent League season against Western Jets at Dial Park.
The Devils hold onto a 14-point lead with just under 9 minutes left in the game!
The second quarter of round two is underway here at West Park, with Burnie holding a 15-point lead over Penguin.
There’s not much separating the two sides - here’s to an exciting match 🤞🏽
Another dominant quarter from Burnie sees the Dockers now 67 points ahead of the Two Blues. With one quarter left I can’t see the home team slowing down anytime soon
