The new Health Secretary received nearly half a million pounds from businessman Peter Hearn over a decade

Between 2015 and 2024 she got £248,619 directly from him and £220,623 from two of his companies

Hearn held a significant stake in recruitment firm Odgers Berndtson which headhunted for the NHS and private healthcare

The firm helped hire senior NHS executives including the former Test and Trace lead

A spokesman said the money funded her office staff and was fully declared
