Donations from private healthcare-linked companies and individuals are primarily paid into the bank accounts of individual Members of Parliament (MPs) or their campaign funds, rather than going directly to the NHS or public coffers.
Dale Vince (you know the one with half a hair cut) donated £5.7 million to the Labour Party.
Then his energy companies received £123 million in taxpayer subsidies.
Where is the scrutiny?
Everything is bloody two tier in this country.
Research indicates that major recipients like Wes Streeting and Rachel Reeves have accepted hundreds of thousands of pounds from donors with direct stakes in private healthcare firms, coinciding with the Labour government's push to divert billions into the private sector.
🚨NEWS: Yvette Cooper has raked in a staggering sum from a private healthcare linked mogul
The new Health Secretary received nearly half a million pounds from businessman Peter Hearn over a decade
Between 2015 and 2024 she got £248,619 directly from him and £220,623 from two of his companies
Hearn held a significant stake in recruitment firm Odgers Berndtson which headhunted for the NHS and private healthcare
The firm helped hire senior NHS executives including the former Test and Trace lead
A spokesman said the money funded her office staff and was fully declared
Companies linked to Hearn also donated to other Labour figures including Wes Streeting
Cooper has not ruled out taking further donations from private healthcare linked donors in her new role
🚨I hate the silence because it’s deafening. 🚨
‼️What is happening?
‼️Police are supposed to update people surely?
🚨When is her funeral?
🚨What is happening!!
I have so many questions!!!!
@TheMercianNews The donations originated primarily from two companies controlled by Peter Hearn – OPD Group Ltd and MPM Connect Ltd – which provide services to the NHS and are involved in private health sector recruitment via Odgers Berndtson.
I see many people complaining that Andy Burnham is going on holiday.
It was pre planned, and everyone is entitled to a holiday. I have no problem with that.
What I do have a problem with is that, right now, the highest ranking government official in Britain is convicted fraudster, Louise Haigh.
How have we got to the point where this has been allowed to happen?
No 10 North is a new government office in Manchester where senior ministers Angela Rayner, Lucy Powell, and Louise Haigh regularly work.
Angela Rayner purchased an £800,000, three-bedroom flat in Hove, East Sussex.
Does this mean that Angela Rayner will be purchasing a second home in Manchester under “expenses” or renting a “friends” home under expenses?
For perspective… 49,000 people pouring into Ceuta. Most have returned.
In 2 years Britain has accepted
▪️77,000ish small boat illegal migrants
▪️67,963 overstaying visas etc.
▪️2,621 by plane
▪️thousands by lorry that the home office can’t quantify.
And taxpayers are now funding their accommodation, utilities, food, pocket money and their lawyers to ensure they can stay.
Just because they come daily doesn’t make the situation less worrying than these scenes below!
The PM's first 10 days:
Scrapped digital ID.
Scrapped VAT on utility bills.
Cut Business rates by a further 20% on pubs, clubs and live music venues.
Capped bus fares at £2.
Pledged to end homelessness.
Scrapped early prisoner release.
Announced a plan to get young people into work.
Brought forward reform to social care.
Not a bad start!
