🚨 A couple was arrested after a child abuse investigation uncovered videos of them sexually abusing a dog.

Phillip Babin and Hailey Mire face dozens of bestiality charges. Babin is also charged with second-degree cruelty to a juvenile after allegedly striking Mire’s daughter in the face with a curtain rod, causing injuries.

Detectives found multiple devices containing videos of sexual acts involving a dog. Babin faces 36 counts of sexual abuse of an animal. Mire faces 47 counts of sexual abuse of an animal and obstruction of justice.

This case began with a report of child abuse and quickly revealed something far more disturbing happening inside the home.

A couple allegedly abusing a child while also sexually abusing an animal shows how these investigations often uncover much worse crimes.

🚨 Hoarder parents have been charged with second-degree murder after their 7-year-old son died weighing 255 pounds.

Damien O’Brien, 40, and Jessica O’Brien, 41, of Flint Township, Michigan, are facing second-degree murder, child abuse, and torture charges in the death of their son Casper.

The boy died in November 2025 from heart failure linked to morbid obesity. He was 4 feet 2 inches tall and weighed 255 pounds more than three times a healthy weight for his height. Prosecutors say he had never been to school and had only seen a doctor once in his life.

The family home was described as a hoarding situation. Despite having health insurance and the father holding a good job, the parents allegedly prioritized veterinary care for their dog over medical attention for their son.

This case shows how some parents can completely cut their children off from every system meant to protect them, no school, no doctor visits, no oversight until it’s too late. A 7-year-old should never be allowed to reach 255 pounds while living in total isolation from the outside world.
