Seminary teacher for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
@Eyesandvibes Diego Luna? Gozo? Both admittedly do more of their inspiring through toughness of play and not the outward act of trying to pump the crowd up.
I agree this type of person(s) are vital to success on and off the field.
@MLS Tired of posts like this being made with AI real quick. Some obvious issues with the table. South Africa and Czech Republic have a tie and 1 point, Mexico should have 2 wins.
Come on, just at least slow down a second and try.
@Seth_1@MamaCAllen Oh trust me, I see the benefit of paper scriptures. At the end of the day the key is unity in the scriptures. Paper or phone are just the means to the end.
Hopefully you can find that balance. I’d love to talk more in the future about it too. Always learning.
@Seth_1@MamaCAllen I’m also a seminary teacher. I have done paper & phone. They both have there pros, but in UT we have been specifically directed to use phones so we can teach them how to be lifelong disciples in a digital age. After doing both I’d hope you would consider how to use phones too.
@KelseaJ112 You’re getting a lot of answers of the standard works and the Spirit.
Obviously.
But one of the things called teachers struggle with, particularly those without a background in teaching, is how to structure a class and teach to its needs.

@LeadingSaints I have had it help create a study plan. It provides the talk/scripture and some potential questions for me to ponder. Sometimes a hymn to listen to.
I asked my seminary students their thoughts today.
One student said, “We will need to be more direct, which might be hard at first, but I think Sunday School will help me learn about the principles that I need and the new FSY lessons will teach me how to live them. I’m excited!”
In advance of the upcoming general conference leadership session (April 2, 2026), The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced upcoming adjustments to the Sunday class meeting schedule to support members in their efforts to be lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ. The adjustments will strengthen gospel learning in homes and congregations throughout the world.
Beginning September 6, 2026, the alternating weekly schedule for Sunday School and quorum or class meetings will be replaced. Under the updated schedule:
• Sunday School, Relief Society, elders quorum, Young Women and Aaronic Priesthood quorum meetings will be held each week.
• Sacrament meeting will continue to be 60 minutes, followed by brief transition periods.
• Sunday School and quorum and class meetings will each be 25 minutes.
• Primary will continue every Sunday and will be 55 minutes, held while adults and youth attend their respective classes.
• Where local circumstances necessitate, units may begin with Primary and quorum and class meetings and conclude with sacrament meeting.

Winner will be announced March 14th! #RSL#RealSaltLake#MLS#giveaway
@dustinharding I just got asked to do this for seminary. Would love to collaborate ideas even if there are differences.
Biggest advice that I’m still learning how to follow. The power is in them. You don’t need to have all the ideas/talents/testimony. Find ways to use & highlight your stakes.
Today was my son’s birthday. A little family get together with some dessert and gifts, nothing crazy. But ended up being a great night!
So grateful for my son, all he has taught me about the world, myself and God. I’m so lucky to be his dad. ❤️😊
@VVenerabilis I had a WML who would always wear a different colored dress shirt or suit, not crazy flashy but different, so that way when people came for their first time they didn’t feel on the outside in a sea of white shirts.
When he knew he’d help with the sacrament he would wear white.

Winner announced 1/10/26 #RSL#ClaretAndCobalt#RealSaltLake#Giveaway
@sister_slay Had a student share this with me this week.
Simply asked if they had read the whole chapter or just the verse.
Once we read it together they were like… “Oh well I mean I guess I read it in with the rest of the verses before. That does change it”
Teaching 9th grade seminary yesterday and was able to announce this to some of my classes.
While still years away I watched the young women pause and have a wave of realization and start hugging/cheering. Others just simply started saying “I can’t wait!”
The future is bright.
The First Presidency is pleased to announce that effective immediately, young women who choose to serve a full-time mission may begin their service at age 18 following graduation from high school or its equivalent.
While the Lord asks every worthy, able young man as part of his priesthood responsibility to prepare for and serve a mission, we reiterate that missionary service remains an optional opportunity for young women. We recognize that for those young women who desire to serve a full-time mission, the choice of age to begin service will not be the same for everyone.
We extend our love to the youth of the Church and commend them for their faithfulness. https://t.co/hZVKFI3VW6
