proud father of 2, love my Ford ST Focus ,RC hobbyist. πDriver, Love my Bicycle too, my opinions not always welcome, doesnβt make you right either π
@2wheelsgoodBrum@francesca_kms Unlikely. The whole point to cycle is to Save money . Sadly the idea of Pulling over on way home and Quickly Nip into the Shop to buy a News paper and drink and a bar of choc is gone thanks to Cameras everywhere.
So little mini mart loses out.
@francesca_kms Your cycling revolution on the Embankment is at the expense of that Traffic Jam giving you what was once a lane for motor vehicles for cycling .
And once on the embankment after Blackfriars bridge there are no exits until westminster bridge.
@Avabelly__ My escort xr3i got done like that several times
I bent the door back to an extent but it leaked in the rain and car wash.
Until some body crashed into me and i got the door and wing fixed on them .
I sold it to me uncle, in β¬οΈ1 week, he opened door into a bus and ripped it off.
@langoo@francesca_kms My point is, socially acceptable to ride around with kid on a bicycle frame not made for carrying a kid. Potentially reaching 15mph easily, perhaps More free wheeling down hill, The risk of injury is potentially higher than being in a car and Shunted at 15-20mph wearing seatbelt
@2wheelsgoodBrum@EdinKennedy@francesca_kms No one is Forcing her to use her son to look for risks assosiated to cycling in a city that was never designed around cyclists. There are many Q ways: and LTN roads for what you guys would like the city would have to Levelled and built around cycle lanes.
@langoo@francesca_kms Iβve had my Front bicycle wheel Tramline before causing me to loose balance and drop onto my side about 17mph , iβve also had another car shunt into my Car from behind . I know which was less painful and it wasnβt the bike.
