Weekend in Paradise has just gone Gold 🥲🥹❤️

No radio playlists, no TV adverts or even TV performances, no industry backing. Just a real tune with a real meaning supported by real people.

I remember writing it in a log cabin in the lakes whilst having me morning coffee and when I played the chorus for the first time, it made Rachael (my wife) stop what she was doing and I remember her sayin "that's boss that Jay". I remember the excitement at the thought that this song could take me somewhere else. Thankfully I was right. 5/6 years on and here we are.

For someone like me who relies on the people (because I can't rely on the industry), this moment is such a big one. Thanks to everyone who believed in me and to everyone who still does. 🙌

The "tastemakers" aren't always right. Sometimes the people decide.

Enjoy the sunshine this weekend and make sure it's one in paradise for me. I've got big things coming soon. About to make the biggest move I've ever made. 👀
