Inspired by my visit to the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville this past July. While not the Mother Church, hopefully to my students, it will be the Mother Classroom. Looking forward to the first day. @GTWizards1
Congrats to Mr. Grant! He is one of Wake County finalists for principal of the year! Proud to be a member of your team. Congratulations Bob! @GTWizards1 @
Very fortunate to have GMA meteorologist @gingerlee visit @GTWizards1. Thank you for coming to our school to talk to Ss about meteorology and #chasinghelicity.
It took an entire team of world-class climber-cinematographers—who rappelled beside Alex Honnold as he climbed Yosemite's El Capitan—to capture this historic story #FreeSolo#Oscars2019 https://t.co/EokrQPnZcm
After analyzing the Preamble to the Constitution, the students went to work on interpreting it in an artistic point of view. Here are some of the results of the the Ss' Preamble quilt project. @GTWizards1
"We the People..." Finished breaking down and analyzing the Preamble of the US Constitution and now Ss are creating "quilts" to show their interpretation of the Preamble. @GTWizards1
Culmination of his Cafe Colonial America project, one of my S made traditional Colonial cornbread and apple cider. It was yummy! @GTWizards1#wizardsrule
When I was in high school, I was one of four students from my school selected to go and see him speak at a rally when he was running for president. Extraordinary experience for the four of us. RIP 41.
The note he left behind in the Oval Office for President Clinton when he transitioned out of office is a great reminder of what a true statesman he was.
41 will be sorely missed.
The next time you find yourself overthinking or worrying, stop yourself and take a deep breath. Look at something around you and notice what’s in the present moment. Look at the sky, a beautiful flower. Feel your heartbeat. Get out of your mind and immerse yourself in the moment.
