@shadylady222 Lower your voice for instructions 🤫 If you are constantly projecting over shuffling/mumbling/chat, they will continue to shuffle/mumble/chat! Pick a volume where all can hear as long as no one speaks - will catch their attention especially if you are usually a loud speaker!

@KCGeographies Could try a monthly / weekly list of “Come and See” lessons with open doors - either at a department or whole school level! This works best where there is already a culture of coaching / judgement free observations for sharing new ideas and good practice 😊

@miss_dickinson1 We are teaching it to Year 9 - so I’m aiming for some emotive and engaging debates which our students will hopefully get in to!

@miss_dickinson1 I am trying to focus on contemporary ideas - like conflict in Ukraine/Crimea and the use of the Arctic for Oil/Gas exploration! Am also going to try and include a “Putin - Amazing or Evil” debate towards the end of the unit!
