@legotrillermoth There is a ton of downtime on film sets between camera/lighting set ups. It’s perfectly feasible for the actors and directors to do some bonding activities instead of just being on their phones
@sacraamarte@h1ghtowr And that is by design! It’s not meant to be explored deeply. It’s the foundational myth of the Targaryen dynasty. Aegon I’s only value is as a dramatic foil for more interesting descendants
@h1ghtowr Aegon the Conqueror is only interesting as a platonic ideal that every Targaryen king after him is forced to measure their legacy against. That’s it. GRRM purposely kept that part of Fire & Blood vague and without conflict on purpose
@NebsGoodTakes It’s an incredibly boring direction for the franchise to take. The most interesting thing about Aegon’s Conquest is its role as the foundational myth for House Targaryen’s manifest destiny and Aegon is the platonic ideal every Targaryen king has to measure themselves against
@NotNicholas4@bittersteel196 General viewers didn’t care about the characters in HotD and Dunk & Egg until they were on there screens. It’s boring to retread the same material when GRRM has created a world rich in history worthy of exploration by talented writers with a vision
Aegon and his conquest of Westeros only interesting as the foundational myth of House Targaryen and the platonic ideal king that every subsequent Targaryen measures themselves against. Dramatizing it only removes that mystic and adds nothing…
@N1cto1@feralgames@totalwar Been tweeting @feralgames continuously about this. Used to be they would at least give a perfunctory “we’re working on it” response. Now they are radio silent. It’s completely unacceptable. They are refusing to properly support the product they are selling
@CraveCanada@CraveTVSupport why is crave app on my TV signing me out every time I turn it off? This has been going on for a week and everything has been updated.
