Charles Barkley challenges the claim that LeBron James has had four Hall of Fame careers, arguing that stacking superteams should have resulted in more than four championships, while Shaq defends LeBron and reveals how he built the Lakers dynasty by demanding more star power.
Barkley questions why LeBron has only four championships despite playing alongside elite talent, especially when Michael Jordan won six. Shaq counters that recruiting top players is part of a superstar’s job, admitting he pushed the Lakers to bring in players like Rick Fox and Brian Shaw. The debate gets heated as both legends turn the argument toward each other’s championship runs and the role team building plays in defining greatness.
Chris Tucker was paid a reported $25 million for Rush Hour 3.. then mostly disappeared from movies.. and in 2014 the IRS filed an $11.5 million tax lien against him.
That is almost half of the biggest check of his career, owed back to the government.
In the 1990s he went from Smokey in Friday to Jackie Chan's partner in Rush Hour.
"I don't do stuff for money," he says. "Never did."
The court record:
1995: Friday comes out. He plays Smokey.
1998: Rush Hour pairs him with Jackie Chan.
2007: Rush Hour 3 hits theaters. It is his last big studio payday.
2014: the lien is filed, for unpaid federal taxes.
2023: he returns in Air, playing Nike's Howard White. He says he wrote all six of his scenes.
"I got to pay these bills," he says. "I'm tired of seeing these notices."
The case for Chris: he says he stepped away on purpose, to grow, travel "the world 10 times over" and only take roles he could do his best in.
The case for the IRS: a tax lien is the government's legal claim on your property until the bill is paid. The taxes were owed on money he had already earned.
Then the twist.
He says the IRS is no longer the problem.
"I done paid the IRS off," he says. "But I owe some more people now."
His offer to them, in his words: "Let's make a deal."
And his own summary of the fortune: "I got rich," he jokes. "I ain't got nothing. No more."
If you have ever let one big check carry you for years, you know how fast a payday turns into a payment plan.
In the video below, Chris Tucker says: "I was the highest paid in Hollywood, 25 million a movie and back end."
Did stepping away from Hollywood cost him more than the IRS ever did?
EXCLUSIVE: What is EA Sports' "Project Gridiron"?
I have a couple small details on what it's not, confirmation on whether it's a standalone game or a big mode addition, and when we might get the first look at it.

DeMarcus Cousins CALLS OUT modern basketball, arguing that analytic nerds who couldn't survive at the park are now ruining the game. 🔥 HEATED 🔥
"At the same time, we allowed the analytic nerds and all these motherfuckers in our game that would never be a part of this game if it wasn't for the numbers part."
"They wouldn't even be allowed. You're not even allowed at the park, motherfucker. Like, sit on the side and watch what the athletes do."
"So, we allowed these motherfuckers in the game, and now they get to determine what greatness looks like, how you get to greatness."
"Coaches are now coaching from a piece of paper. They flash the camera to the coach, and he doing this every 30 seconds."

Untargeted Defenders | Madden 27 Title Update 📌
EA says defenders untargeted by the offense will now be "completely ignored."
// MY TAKE
That's not entirely accurate.
I tested this by dropping 10 defenders into coverage and blitzing only my user. Even when untargeted the offensive line still picked him up.
There might be a sweet spot where this works but I haven't found it yet.
I was able to get free pressure with a different setup though so watch until the end.
The league is yours to shape. Own every decision with new facemasks, animations, gameplay and more dropping in tomorrow’s Title Update.

#Madden27
I HATE when people complain that Madden or CFB is too easy. It's always the same 4 complaints and they are all connected. The truth is MOST people dont want it to be as challenging as it should be.
Totally agree with this!!! Remember how Backbreaker was before the Greathouse patch… the did need to fix that QB throw animation as it was too slow, but the trenches were VERY unforgiving and I absolutely LOVED it!!! Best trenches replication STILL to this day!!

This is where my eyes go every time I come to the line 👀
Before the snap and before the read you need to know what you’re looking at defensively!
Where are YOUR eyes going pre-snap? 🏈
