@allthingscomedy@thedollop@daveanthony@reynoldsgareth The worst bar bathroom you've ever seen, was bleached in sanitized at least once a week. CBGB, was bleached once a week. That's what I think about, when I hear about current war zones or cities in the past....
@MrBeast How much money are you donating to disaster relief in WNC? 1 mil, 2? Your brand is supposedly built on charity and there are people in your home state dying would their homes and towns completely destroyed. What you going to do about it?
hawk tuah girl @HalieyWelchX just came to my Solana event
She told me she's extremely bullish on low latency chains with multiple concurrent block producers like Solana and that she's excited to firedance

@Fallout instead of removing legit nighttime, as well as death/meaningful punishment from starvation/dehydration; rather add poisonous creatures that require antivenom treatment in a given time. don't call it a survival crafter, unless it's survival based
if you're working on any part of Solana right now and you're not absolutely gas on the pedal — you will be surpassed and die
the L2s + L1s are coming, they vastly outnumber you
tighten up the slack in your companies — your only edge is speed, use it and sprint until Breakpoint

it just hit me that a lot of people fudding are genuinely not aware of how staking works on Solana
they think it works the same as in Ethereum because it's a Proof-of-Stake network
but there are big differences
the biggest is that delegation is built into the protocol natively — i.e., you don't need things like RocketPool or Lido, and you don't need any centralized exchanges
the latter aren't actually built into the Ethereum network itself, they are 3rd parties
on Solana, it's super simple because it's part of the Solana network and you don't need 3rd parties:
you have some SOL -> you delegate it to whatever validator(s) you want
no minimums
you can withdraw at any time since you own the stake account (unstaking happens every epoch which is roughly 2 days)
that's it — every single wallet has this built-in, or you can do it via code/cli
and if you're a validator, you don't need some upfront minimum amount like 32ETH to start
you can get started with 0 stake upfront and then get people to delegate to you (this is what we did with Helius for example and now we have over 1.2B staked with us)
so what the Solana Foundation Delegation Program does is:
- Foundation already has a bunch of SOL obviously
- They then *match* upto 200k SOL of what other people delegate to you
- Once you get over 1M delegated to you, they simply withdraw
lmk if any questions
