People will disagree with you on stuff and that’s fine. That’s something we can debate and convince each other on. Humility is a virtue that forges the strongest ideas.

But remember… free thinkers are not a monolith and unless we want to become like the left with their endless purity spirals… we have to form coalitions on the battlefield.

Wars are won through people sharing common cause… and isolating ourselves will only make it easier to conquer us.

Don’t let the people who disagree with you on 20% of things distract you from the people who disagree with you on 100% of things.

@Le_Bleuinator these are things i wish i knew when i first opened reaper. it was a nightmare for me ;w; the interface is daunting to look at and definitely did NOT look the way it does now (mine looks the way it does because I downloaded a skin) I spent most of my time crashing out.

@Le_Bleuinator to write midi, click on an empty spot on the arrange and drag, click on "insert" on the top bar where it says file and find where it says insert midi item and click on it. double click on the midi item to write midi.

@Le_Bleuinator if you decide that you don't want to do this anymore you wouldn't of wasted any money because you didn't pay anything. im not saying to stop prompting, im saying that with this, after learning, youll be able to make ANYTHING you want without ai malfunction getting in your way

@Le_Bleuinator that is a necessary skill for music production. you should download the evaluation version of reaper. Its free for 60 days and $60 if you decide to buy it. its the software I used to make this song and the synth i use is called vital, also free

@Le_Bleuinator not everybody knows how to make music, or has the money to pay somebody that does. Seeing the prices of the meta synths and fx VSTs a lot of people use is horrifying so I'm not surprised that people prompt music with ai

@Le_Bleuinator thanks for pointing that out! it sounds painful I only put that disclaimer there just in case the freaks found it and tried to play the AI card on me. I think it's insulting because I worked hard to learn how to make music. Im not against people using ai to prompt music though
