I'm leaning in to my geological roots (and a new love of Inkscape) by opening up a Rebdubble store! All designs are inspired by rocks, minerals, and crystals. Please share and retweet! #geology#GeologyRocks#GeologyArt#SelfPromotion

Our latest PalaeoPoem is now up! Listen to "The Nautilus and the Ammonite" by George F. Richardson on our blog. The stunning guest art this month is by @JadeInJoggins.
Huh. Well. I certainly wasn’t expecting to find *this* in my costumes box. Talk about a blast from the past!
It starts up, but I think the battery is so low that it’s barely able to do so. I’ll have to track down the charging cord.
Bits and pieces of my Halloween costume are beginning to arrive in the mail. It’s been a minute since I’ve gone all-in on an outfit, but I think that this one is going to turn out great!
Oh snap, it's #PortfolioDay!
I do stuff with critters, many of them dead, many of them stupid looking. And when they are not stupid enough I make them more stupid!

@Andywaxer “It makes me viscerally uncomfortable in a way where I *need* to know more” would be the more honest take, but I’m mostly joking around with Yara here.
Since I moved, I have:
- Dug in a cave
- Cooked a lot
- Whittled down the limbs of my longbow to make the draw weight more manageable
- Contemplated building a smoker
So, I've been stuck in my new home without internet for close to a month. I'm making do with a cell hotspot and trying my hand at anything that doesn't require an internet connection.
I'm at the point where I have to choose to finish either my longbow or knitting my gloves.
@Yara_Haridy Which would be fine if it was a hog of some kind.
It's not. It's a marsupial "tapir" that doesn't have any living relatives until you go up to the suborder level.
