Everyone at the gas station warned me about the dog living behind the dumpsters. They said he was aggressive and told me not to get too close.

I kept leaving food for three days before he finally let me sit beside him. Beneath all that matted fur, I could barely see his eyes.

The vet shaved off more than 2 kg of tangled fur that he had been carrying around for years.

A few months later, he was a completely different dog. Now he sleeps on my bed, and sometimes I catch him watching me from across the room, as if he still can’t believe someone came back for him.

If you have an older rescue dog sleeping beside you tonight, give him a little extra love. 🐕❤️

My son broke his arm today so I took him out for ice cream and said he could get a LEGO set and we could build it together.

We went to Walmart.

Every single LEGO set, even ones that were $7.99, were locked up behind glass.

We walked down another isle… same thing.

Every single week I have walked in here and more items are locked up behind glass and it takes FOREVER to have anyone help you open something and they make you feel awful for it.

It’s honestly barely worth shopping here at all…

I felt so bad for my kid. We ended up just leaving without a LEGO set.

Whatever we are doing with society that has brought us here… it’s gotta end.

• Met Adrian Echevarria (49) on a dating app while he was still in federal prison using a contraband phone
• She picked him up the day he was released (Aug 20, 2025), bought him a truck, and gave him a cabin on her property
• Within about 12 hours she was dead — beaten and sexually assaulted
• He tried to clean the scene
• Prior violent history including strangulation
• Jury convicted him of murder Sept 24, 2026 and took 15 minutes to give him life
• Jurors stood together both times they announced their decisions
• DA: “He had every bit of it coming to him.” “The jurors gave it right to him.”

Abdul El-Sayed is running for the United States Senate.

On a podcast, he told people to “bash the shit out of Trump” because Trump is “a terrible human being.”

Not defeat him.

Not beat him at the ballot box.

Bash the shit out of him.

That is a Senate candidate talking about a sitting president like a target.

This is the same cheap, vicious language that has already been followed by assassination attempts. Then the same people pretend they have no idea how it happened.

El-Sayed did not slip. He did not get misquoted. He sat on a show, smiled through it, and said the quiet part out loud.

He thinks that is leadership.

It is not.

It is a man auditioning for power by pointing a mob at his opponent.

Keep him far away from the Senate.

You can debate race, privilege and politics all day. I’m dealing with actual children standing in front of me who need guidance, structure, skills and people who care about them.

When they walk through my doors, they’re MY boys.

They’re going to learn. They’re going to be challenged. They’re going to be corrected. And they’re going to be loved.

I’ve had to grow and challenge some of my own prejudices over the years too.

But one thing I know now: a child’s skin color will NEVER be my reason for refusing to pour into him.
