I HATE this idea that Cam Johnson has to be a salary dump. He’s a positive on both ends of the floor. You have to get a significant return or none at all.
A Cam Johnson trade scenario this offseason where the Nuggets gain further cap flexibility to re-sign Peyton Watson:
Denver receives: Grayson Allen + No. 47
Suns receive: Johnson + No. 26
If the Nuggets want maximum roster flexibility, there’s only one player they can trade this offseason: Jamal Murray.
If you trade Cam Johnson, “all you’re doing is removing that salary and replacing it with Watson…If you remove [Murray] it gives you double the amount of room.”

One detail the #Rams have privately stressed: The Myles Garrett trade likely doesn’t happen if they don’t draft Ty Simpson at No. 13.
With a QB they believe can be the future already in place, the Rams are once again comfortable using future draft capital to acquire elite talent. They don’t need to worry about those picks for a QB.
@NiloticValor Same. Most likely has to go first apron but won’t go into 2nd. So wouldn’t trade Mal unless getting a haul back or another superstar. Just don’t consider Mobley that
@NiloticValor Not for Evan Mobley . Making 50 mil and has little offensive game. Wouldn’t trade Jamal for him. Maybe AG and Cam but if they trade them it’s to get cheaper contracts to resign pwat. Not going into second apron
