One of my favourite lots in our auction this Saturday @trevanion_dean has got to be Fanny Burney’s ring (yes you heard that right) belonging to the authoress and dating to the late 18th century the text on the shank reads ‘Sa Douceur M’enchante’ or His Sweetness Enchanted Me 💕
