For over two decades in different roles, I have seen Pakistan as a source of solidarity & solutions. But what has always stood out to me is the resilience of the Pakistani people & their determination to build a better future.
My message is simple:
The @UN stands with the people of Pakistan. And I thank the Pakistani people for standing up for the world.
In Italia va spiegato che non tutti i sopravvissuti all'Olocausto stanno zitti dinanzi al genocidio dei palestinesi. Molti lo denunciano, a caro prezzo.
Stephen Kapos e' uno di loro.
Not a shred of evidence that journalists partook in military activities. Zero
But as Western media starts its due diligence, Apartheid Israel escalates disinformation. The army has even a "legitimization cell" fabricating stories to justify genocide. My next report exposes it all
In 1975, the UN General Assembly adopted Resolution 3379, declaring that "Zionism is a form of racism and racial discrimination".
It passed 72–35, with 32 abstentions.
In 1991, the UN reversed that decision following a US-led diplomatic campaign. The US, Israel and UK all voted in favour of revoking it.
Greens made a historic point today.
Strap in.
The right people are furious. And that's telling.

I hope people in #Gaza can see this.
#Milan 3/10/26: young people lit their phones in the dark to tell their peers in Gaza: you are not alone; spontanously they sang Free Palestine.
The young generation, marked by the genocide, will see apartheid Israel in the dock. #CSALambretta
Following the vote on the anti-Zionist policy at Green Party Conference, the 5 Green MPs, the Leader and Co-Deputy Leaders have issued a joint statement
Palestinian artist and activist Lubna Speitan says the passing of a motion declaring “Zionism is racism” could become the start of a worldwide movement, during an interview with Palestine Deep Dive.
The motion was passed by the Green Party of England and Wales, a UK political party, at its annual conference and officially adopts the position that Zionism is racism.
Speitan, the lead proposer of the motion, described its passage as a “seed planted” that could spread beyond the party and said she hoped the position would be adopted by trade unions, political parties and organisations around the world.
“This is beyond a motion. This is a movement. This is a seed planted here,” Speitan said.
She said the result showed the party was “completely undivided” in opposing oppression, occupation, genocide, apartheid and racism.
“This will be a worldwide movement,” she said.
On Oct 2nd, while driving home from work, I came across a small church in the middle of nowhere with Israeli flags displayed everywhere outside. I pulled over to take a photo and noticed a few people putting up the flags. I parked my car and asked them why they were making such a display, and they said, “It was for October 7th and in solidarity with the Jewish people”. We then had a 15-20min civil discussion about the details of October 7th, where the term Judeo-Christian comes from, immigration, the Talmud on Jesus vs. the Quran on Jesus, the Schofield Bible, and the wars in the Middle East. They listened; one cried while I did most of the talking, and they had very little knowledge on any topic. Eventually they left, went inside, and I assumed I failed in my goal to communicate with them. So today I was going to hold a sign with Revelations 3:8 and 3:9 outside their church in protest(like a crazy person). Only to find the 1700 flags all gone.
Moral of the story: speak truth far and wide to help wake up your people from a billion-dollar, war-levels of propaganda machine.
A 4,000-year-old Babylonian clay tablet records a teenager complaining about uncool clothing.
Around 1800 BC, an Old Babylonian student named Iddin-Sin penned a cuneiform letter to his mother, Zinu, that reads remarkably like a modern, overly dramatic text message.
Writing from the ancient Mesopotamian city of Larsa, the young man was outraged by the quality of the homemade garments she sent him. Rather than opening with warm pleasantries or asking about her well-being, Iddin-Sin immediately complained that the other young gentlemen's clothing was improving every year, while his mother insisted on making his 'poorer and more scanty' despite the household having plenty of wool.
His indignation perfectly captures the timeless teenage horror of not fitting in with peers.
To twist the knife, the ancient teenager compared his wardrobe to that of his father’s assistant’s son, who proudly boasted two brand-new outfits. Iddin-Sin then delivered the ultimate ancient guilt trip, writing: 'In spite of the fact that you bore me and his mother only adopted him, his mother loves him, while you, you do not love me!'
Preserved for millennia on clay, this dramatic message serves as a comforting reminder that schoolyard peer pressure, status anxiety, and dramatic parent-child dynamics are not modern inventions of the social media age, but have been deeply hardwired into human nature for thousands of years.

Colonel Waibhav Anil Kale (retd) was working with UN in Gaza. One day he was murdered by the Israeli Forces IDF. IDF fired at UN vehicle which he was driving.
No Bollywood actor got time to tweet about him.
@poojaofficial5 Failure of government policy which is capitalistic driven and less focused on social welfare - I don't blame the young man at all but you, the government creates this atmosphere with your economics outlook and less people focused - when you can easily reserve seats for seniors.
He's an Inspector/captain and as per norms he's expected to salute a senior ranked officer (there's a DIG/Brigadier ranked officer on Indian side) of any country if both countries are not at war.
Professionalism 🇵🇰👍
