Today in summer ESYโฆ we worked on Yes/No with a fun Green Eggs and Ham game! First we read Green Eggs and Ham, then we used a spatula to scoop, flip, and decide if it had a smiley face on back. Super fun! #slp#speechtherapy#esy#asd
Yesterday a little one graduated from speech and today she gave me this ๐ฅน (side note: I am the only speech therapist in the school, but Iโll still take it ๐).

When your upper elementary students just want to talk about โEncantoโ you turn it into a language therapy session! Targeted story grammar, recalling details & expanding utterances, sequencing, and using descriptive vocab. (*The picture contains spoilers for the movie*)

This week in speechโฆAnimals! We took a virtual field trip to the San Diego Zoo and used their animal live cameras to work on our describing skills. We also did some predicting with a fun book! Articulation students practiced talking about animals that have their speech sounds.
