पंचायती राज का गौरव – सरपंच होंगे स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह के विशेष अतिथि

स्वतंत्रता दिवस 2025 के अवसर पर कर्तव्य पथ, नई दिल्ली में आयोजित होने वाले राष्ट्रीय समारोह में विशेष अतिथि (#SpecialGuest) के रूप में आमंत्रित किए जाने पर श्री अर्तबन्धु बेहेरा, सरपंच, ओस्टिया ग्राम पंचायत, बांकी ब्लॉक, जिला: कटक, ओडिशा ने भारत सरकार के पंचायती राज मंत्रालय, रक्षा मंत्रालय, तथा ओडिशा सरकार के पंचायती राज एवं ग्रामीण विकास विभाग के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया।

उन्होंने बताया कि उनकी पंचायत हर वर्ष महानदी की बाढ़ से प्रभावित होती है, बावजूद इसके ग्रामवासियों की भागीदारी और समर्पण से आज पंचायत एक विकास का आदर्श मॉडल बन चुकी है।

मनरेगा के तहत केंद्र और राज्य सरकार की विभिन्न योजनाओं का लाभ उठाकर पंचायत ने वोटिंग हॉल, मार्केट परिसर, स्कूलों का उन्नयन, मिशन शक्ति भवन और ग्रामीण पार्क सहित महत्वपूर्ण परियोजनाओं को सफलतापूर्वक पूरा किया है।

गौरव की बात है कि वर्ष 2012 में उनकी पंचायत को तत्कालीन महामहिम राष्ट्रपति से निर्मल ग्राम पुरस्कार और ₹2 लाख की प्रोत्साहन राशि प्राप्त हुई थी।

उन्होंने पंचायत में महिला सहभागिता को सम्मानजनक स्थान देने को प्राथमिकता बताया और इस अवसर पर राष्ट्र के प्रति सेवा को अपना कर्तव्य बताया।

राष्ट्रीय समारोह में आमंत्रण को उन्होंने एक अविस्मरणीय सम्मान बताया और प्रधानमंत्री को लाल किले से झंडा फहराते देखना एक जीवन की महान उपलब्धि बताया।

उन्होंने पंचायती राज प्रणाली को सशक्त बनाने के लिए भारत सरकार, राज्य सरकार एवं सभी पंचायत प्रतिनिधियों का आभार व्यक्त किया।
