The Seahawks' first injury report of the season lists Nick Emmanwori as limited. His recovery from July ankle surgery still is not allowing him to practice fully. Seems like another sign he's unlikely to play in the opener.

Also of note: starting safety Ty Okada didn't practice.

48 YEARS AWAY FROM SEATTLE.
If you're local, you might want to know how a foreigner sees your city.
I knew Seattle from a distance. From Mexico, it was the place where my team played. A far corner of the map. Rain, coffee, airplanes, technology… and the Seahawks.
Then I finally got there. And Seattle surprised me.
No, it may not be the first destination a foreigner dreams about. It feels far away, tucked into that beautiful, strange corner between the mountains, the water and Canada.
But then you breathe it. The air. The water. The trees. The beer. The music. The people. And those views that appear between buildings and make you stop walking.
And then, of course, there are the Seahawks.
Lo curioso es que llegué pensando que Seattle pertenecía a los Seahawks, y descubrí algo más interesante.
Seattle has the Mariners, the Kraken, the Sounders... the Sonics coming soon. Its own music, its own companies, its own culture. Not everyone here lives and dies with the Seahawks.
But the Seahawks are bigger than Seattle. They represent the whole Pacific Northwest: Washington, Oregon, parts of Canada, Alaska. People separated by thousands of miles who recognize themselves in the same colors.
A team from a corner of America that, like its city, has often been overlooked and underestimated.
Maybe that's why I fell in love with them 48 years ago.
Seattle doesn't scream for your attention. Neither do the Seahawks. You have to go there. You have to feel it.

Seattle isn't just where the Seahawks play. Seattle is part of why the Seahawks are who they are.
I finally understood the place behind the team.
