It was insane playing it in 2004, and what's even more crazy is that it's still better than nearly everything else in the shooter genre today.

And I totally agree, Halo had a massive impact when it comes to 1st person shooters on console.
I remember playing Halo 1 and 2 on the OG Xbox, it was amazing having such a smooth gameplay in a shooter on console.

He's completely right that you are obviously just don't get it.
Cause most if the characters are very well written.
