The more I build SnapRoll, the more I realize that payroll UX isn't just about sending money.
It's also about making sure employees don't need to think about wallets, networks, or transactions.
That's the experience I'm trying to build with SnapRoll.
SnapRoll update
You can now send payroll to users who haven’t registered yet.
With our Escrow & Claim flow, employees can receive their payment later using just their Gmail address—no 0x address or prior wallet setup required.
Making payroll simpler, one step at a time.
Payroll shouldn't start with asking every employee for a 0x address.
I'm working on a different approach with SnapRoll:
Gmail address → escrow → claim → payment
No wallet address collection. No pre-linking.
Still building.
What if payroll didn't require a wallet address?
SnapRoll's upcoming escrow & claim flow will let employers send to an employee's Gmail address — without collecting a 0x address or linking their wallet in advance.
On-chain settlement, familiar UX.
A major SnapRoll update is coming.
Gmail payments are coming to unregistered users through an escrow & claim flow.
If you know an employee's Gmail address, there's no need to copy-paste their 0x address or link it in advance.
Dozens of employees. Different amounts. Different currencies.
Repeating the same payment operations every month doesn't scale.
That's why I'm building SnapRoll: to make cross-border payroll run itself.
SnapRoll Update
EURC is now live.
USDC is automatically swapped to EURC, then sent to recipients as part of the payroll flow.
Swap rates are also recorded on-chain for transparent verification.
Automated cross-border payroll, built on Arc.
A completed Circle signing flow doesn't mean the transaction succeeded on-chain.
Some reverted transactions were treated as successful.
I fixed this by checking the transaction status before updating app state.
Successful signing ≠ successful on-chain execution.
@arc
Cross-border payroll shouldn't be this expensive or manual.
Transfer fees, FX costs, and dozens of recurring payments create unnecessary operational work every month.
Set it up once. Let payroll run automatically.
SnapRoll update
Our core focus is automated monthly payroll through scheduled payments.
Today:
Instant Send for one-off payments
Email addresses now appear in the Address Book when available for SnapRoll users
Making recurring payroll simpler to manage.
@0xDucky1st@arc Thanks for the feedback! That’s exactly the goal — turning repetitive cross-border payroll operations into something businesses can set up once and rely on.
