@Dragon_Age_Fans But almost anyone can turn on you in Origins (I don’t consider Morrigan a traitor at all;) II has that potential as well, and Bull isn’t a traitor for following the Qun to take advantage of the chance to hurt an Inquisitor who hurt him. Blackwall should have said something though
@Dragon_Age_Fans All of the above?
(Honestly the only ones who I think betrayed is Anders, who explicitly abused our trust to do bad things and Isabella who ran away. The rest gave us incomplete information that didn’t change that they helped, or always had divided loyalties.)
@Dragon_Age_Fans He doesn’t get the privilege of being a martyr, he has to deal with the consequences of his incredibly boneheaded decision, all the blood on his hands from the mages he claimed he was trying to help.
@Dragon_Age_Fans The answer is obviously Sten, Oghren would be drunk, Sera would say/do something inappropriate, Flemeth and Bull would be amusing, but Sten would see educating children as important but maintain that stoicism in the face of muppet antics.
@Dragon_Age_Fans And, just to rile up the fans:
DA:O Oghren
DA:A Oghren (again)
DAII Fenris (getting spicy)
DA:I Sera or Vivienne (or, to really piss people off, Cullen)
@Dragon_Age_Fans There has yet to be a game that didn’t have at least one character I would be willing to lose, though it would depend on how much is just intellectual gratification, how late in the game, and how explicitly I’m sending them to die for this.
@Dragon_Age_Fans What’s the point in playing Trespasser if you don’t get to play your Inquisitor up to there. If you can’t see the culmination of their bonds and choices?
@BrandesStoddard But have you considered that I can now use 3 feats and a fighting style to increase my pool to horrifying levels? (5 feats if there’s nothing stopping me from joining each knightly order.)
Is it really much worse than a warlock with some long rest spells from feats?

@voxpopcast@chrismaverick @monicamarveloux @wayne_wise Emoji aren’t a language, they’re punctuation. They serve to modify or clarify the meaning of language, or can be used to convey meaning where more words would be needed, or possibly unnecessary (as sending a question mark alone to indicate confusion.)
@GabeJamesGames I’ll use passive stealth (and other “active” skills) to bypass low-stakes rolls as DM, where success is all but guaranteed anyway.
Or to shape my perception of the character as player, even when not actively hiding they can tend to sneak up on people.
@Dragon_Age_Fans Shale seems the best bet (immune to lycanthropy, and probably pretty resistant to the claws and teeth) but only if she’s actually going to protect which… is a coin flip I feel.
Blackwell is the best tank who would jump in the way of a werewolf attacking a stranger.
