μολὼν λαβέ. Farmer. Veteran. Trucker. libertarian (small l). Bullshit and irony rule the world. Married to @suzibasterd. I have no fucks left to give. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@BlackLabelAdvsr Hahahaahaha huge nope. There are public restrooms you don’t have to pay for in Europe and guess what? You can’t see through the gaps and the vast majority of the locks aren’t broken. Oh yeah, also someone actually cleans them.
You’re very funnny tho. 😂
The World Cup has transformed the United States into the world’s most overwhelming Discovery Channel special.
And the visitors are not coping.
In the absolute best way possible.
Here’s what they’re uncovering:
Public restrooms you can actually use without paying.
Water that shows up at the table for free.
Unlimited refills on coffee, soda, and sweet tea.
Chips and salsa arriving before you even ask.
Warm bread served with dinner, no extra charge.
Ice in every drink like it’s a basic human right.
Air conditioning that’s standard everywhere—not a climate crime.
Parking right next to the building you’re visiting.
Drive-thrus that deliver food straight to your car.
Ranch dressing available by the jug.
Tex-Mex that defies description and demands to be experienced.
Dentists who actually fix things.
And Buc-ee’s… which simply breaks language.
Then they discovered American grocery stores.
Five colossal ones within a single mile, each the size of an airplane hangar.
A single refrigerated aisle offering every cut of beef, pork, lamb, veal, and poultry known to humanity—at 10 a.m. on a random Tuesday.
The Germans stood motionless in the meat section for nearly an hour.
Silent.
Rebooting.
Suddenly, the lack of passenger trains makes perfect sense.
Why bother with trains when the roads are wide enough for the vehicles we actually drive, parking lots stretch like small nations, and decent airports dot every city worth going to?
The Germans are now smuggling ranch dressing home by the bottle.
The Dutch tasted queso and temporarily forgot how to form sentences.
The Japanese are documenting H-E-B like it’s the Sistine Chapel.
The Czechs have been spotted openly weeping with joy in West, Texas.
Welcome to America. 🇺🇸
The greatest country on Earth.
The large scale polling tells the whole story. It's not "both sides are crazy".
Its one side has a tiny fringe of crazy, and the other side in the main has been radicalized into demented, depressed, low-fertility fifth columnists by decades of total control of the media and education institutions by communists.
You can't be an genuinely educated adult with even cursory knowledge of world history and hate the country the way apparently MOST Democrats do today (and didn't 25 years ago).
To get to where most are today (apparently), you have to be actively maleducated and propagandized by provably lying villains and useful idiots for those villains into this position.
I fear these kind of numbers are well beyond a tipping point. Like Labour in the UK, the Democratic Party is totally lost and only getting worse. It must be fully dismantled and replaced with something sane for the sake of all Americans.
@_nickm17 the americans favourite pass time is to make up narratives about everyone else bein jealous of them or upset about something theyve said so they don’t have to think about how much their lives suck compared to everyone else
"The Communists’ chief purpose is to destroy every form of independence, independent work, independent action, independent property, independent thought, an independent mind, or an independent man. Conformity, alikeness, servility, submission and obedience are necessary to establish a Communist slave-state."
— Ayn Rand
🇺🇸 $SPCX IS GOING TO FOOL EVERY RETAIL INVESTOR THIS YEAR.
Everyone is rushing to buy SpaceX shares following it's IPO but it will likely crash.
This is a good representation of what happens to large valuation stocks post IPO.
If your time horizon is long enough, you'll be fine.
But you will likely sit through months of drawdown.
Be prepared for exactly that.
Some Seattle soccer fans have mixed feelings about patriotically backing the U.S. team during the FIFA Men's World Cup, given the actions of President Donald Trump. https://t.co/XooQ8rPjSQ
🚨#BREAKING: I HAVE OBTAINED FOOTAGE THAT APPEARS TO SHOW A GROUP OF BLACK MEN AND WOMEN BEAT A WHITE MALE UNCONSCIOUS IN SAVANNAH GA!!!
They stomp, kick, and punch him IN THE HEAD OVER AND OVER while people laugh at him and film.
WE DO NOT HAVE TO LIVE LIKE THIS!!!!!!!
Wow. Won’t even say what her fellow Republicans now admit. The war in Iran (that Susan Collins supported) is the “worst foreign policy blunder in decades.”
Susan Collins: Spineless, Useless, and Corrupt.
We will put 50 pct of big AI stocks into a sovereign wealth fund is not a plan
Realizing that those same AI companies will still need to raise hundreds of billions of dollars, or even more, needs an open conversation about whether investing taxpayer money in these companies, in exchange for equity, is beneficial for taxpayers.
You can extend the same discussion into data-centers, given much of that investment will be spent there.
Of course the root problem is obvious.
Who would we trust to represent taxpayers in these conversations and potential negotiations ? Certainly not politicians
How do you think these conversations should be approached ?
