The termย Narcissism means a fixation with oneself. This quality, in turn, contributes to the definition ofย narcissistic personality disorder, aย psychiatric conditionย marked byย grandiosity, excessive need for attention and admiration, and an inability toย empathize.

An old video but this is the first time I've ever seen a player who chose to forfeit a clear penalty opportunity and opted to dribble till he produced an open play assist.
@bagga_buntyy1 Mr. Bagga, this list is not correct / complete. Where are legends like Black Bradman aka George Headley (60.83), Graeme Pollock (60.97) & Barry Richards (72.57)?
Either you put a disclaimer of minimum no. of tests or don't put such half-baked statistics just for likes & follows.
@grok@FIFAWorldCup A final which ultimately was won by Argentina. So such posts from reputed institutions like FIFA must come with a caveat like changed the course 'temporarily', however Messi has the last laught etc.
I think if the players enlisted therein really want the list to be taken seriously and garner any sanctity, they themselves should opt out in place of generational greats like Lara, Warne, McGrath etc... at least respective players can leave their places for greater players from their own country.
Please see the break-up of McGrath's impressive record done by @saurabh_42 in below thread

I don't understand how a list of the 25 greatest cricketers if the 21st century can exclude Glenn McGrath. I would have thought he'd be in the shortlist to be top-ranked.
Of course Brian Lara and Shane Warne should also definitely be there. But McGrath was the peak in Tests and ODIs in the most dominant team of this century - and for year on year, series after series, in both formats. And the one year he played IPL, he had an economy rate of 6.61 - third best in the tournament.
All of McGrath, Warne and Lara belong in this list.

@pushkar_g_singh People don't realise that once in a generation player like Lara & Warnie if they play for just one year in any Century, it counts.
Grace, Hobbs, Sobers, Richards are there forever.

Kevin Peterson @KP24 himself has volunteered to offer his position to men greater than him as he felt embarassed to be placed above Wizard of Oz - Warnie and Prince of Trinidad - Lara.

Now people may say it doesn't work like that, just because anyone gives his 10th or nth position to someone else of his liking, that doesn't make that someone 10th or nth greatest.
To that my answer is, @KP24 has more cricketing brain / acumen & greatness than half of the jury comprising - Agarkar, Watson, Harmison, Finch, Pujara, Southee, Irfan, Brathwaite, Morgon, Angelo Mathews and Shan Masood etc.

Most of us remember Lara as a 90s batsman. However, his record in the 2000s is even better than his 1990s record.
1990s: 66 M, 5,348 runs at 49.51, 16 ๐ฏ, HS 375
2000s: 65 M, 6,605 runs at 56.45, 18 ๐ฏ, HS 400*
