Mayor of London Sadiq Khan is "open to any discussions" for the capital to host the World Championship.

The Worlds will be held at a temporary venue in a few years when the Crucible undergoes a huge £45m revamp.

No location has yet been decided by WST chiefs. #snooker

A Mayor of London spokesperson said: “The Mayor remains determined to bring even more sports from around the world to the capital.

“And if Sheffield is unable to host while the Crucible is being refurbished, we would be open to any discussions on staging the World Championship.”

In the book "Pots of Gold" by David Hendon, Johnson revealed he expected Steve Davis to beat him despite having a big 17-12 lead - in the race to 18. #snooker

Rocket Ronnie O'Sullivan wants the new snooker 900 format to fully take off.

O'Sullivan won the Global Championship which has 15-minute frames max.
