I know a lot of people might have this question so here is an explanation verified by the dev:

BSSC is still just a project in development. It’s a working copy of Solana that you can run on your own computer, but there isn’t a public version of it online yet. That means there’s no official test network or main network that people can connect to. The code works, and it proves the idea that Solana’s system could use BNB instead of SOL, but it’s only a local setup for testing and learning. If the developers keep building it, the next step would be to launch a public testnet that anyone can try, and later, a real mainnet where BNB could actually have value on the network.

If BSSC eventually becomes real, the end product would mainly be used by developers, blockchain projects, and crypto platforms that want Solana’s speed with Binance’s ecosystem and Ethereum’s app compatibility.

Developers could use it to build decentralized apps (DeFi, NFT markets, or games) that run at high speed and low cost. Projects on Binance Smart Chain could port their apps over to get better performance while still using BNB as gas. Exchanges and wallet platforms could integrate BSSC to allow instant, cheap transactions using BNB.
