@JimDelahunt Oh, he’s FIFA accredited? Well, why didn’t you say so! That obviously takes precedence over border controls! 🤡
I shouldn’t joke, it probably does in Europe. I’ll bet there’s some multiculturalist line about the universal connection and inclusivity of sport or whatever.
@Utahdesert@JamesSurowiecki@slamming_sammy What are the numbers? From what I see Californians 18-34 are maybe 10% more likely
to call themselves liberal than older voters. Their approval of other Democrats (Obama, Biden, Newsom) is not vastly different. And Bass of the Venceremos Brigade ain’t exactly a moderate either.
@clipartfarm@ConceptualJames I have, and it’s notable for its lack of instructions for Christians to kill the men, distribute the women, cut off limbs, rape slaves, etc. Many puzzling omissions
@Utahdesert@JamesSurowiecki@slamming_sammy Of course not, but that’s insufficient to explain how late voters are now TWICE as likely to vote for Raman as early/day of voters, and 20% less likely to vote for Bass. Of votes counted since 6/5 Bass got 60k and Raman 75k. How do you explain this?
@GameSpot “Fans being angry at us for screwing up the series means they really care about it and we’re thankful for that and we hope they enjoy our screwing it up”
@JamesSurowiecki@totally_not_ace@slamming_sammy No, I’m talking about the poll you cited that had Raman at 25%, which - I presume - was taken to cover the population as a whole. If comparing early/day-of votes to late ballots, then late voters were about 90% more likely to go for Raman. This also isn’t realistic.
@totally_not_ace@JamesSurowiecki@slamming_sammy So not just demographics or timing. Now you’re saying leftists vote late, more than moderates, to the degree that the third-place leftist in early/election day votes comes in first in late votes?
@totally_not_ace@JamesSurowiecki@slamming_sammy These can have an effect, but what you’re suggesting is that these apparently independent demographic and timing effects, in aggregate, make a late ballot voter about 60% more likely to vote Raman than the population as a whole. That’s just not realistic.
