@jongonzalemx@lilacpjmn Itโs true, itโs all about money. They charge us crazy amounts on concert tickets and we buy it in the US, so they are milking us for it. But Iโm sure they have data that gives them an idea where demand is highest. Country size & population still does not equate to demand
@HAchaeun Why do you want a live viewing if you were there? I didnโt watch the LA live viewing because I was there?? And no we arenโt all treated the same by production, but we are by the guys and thatโs what matters.
@Ta3hyungSK They know fanwars are all part of the kpop money generating machine. When fans have to defend & protect their favorite, it strengthens fan loyalty. Having โenemiesโ who they want to do better than results in more sales, streams, & revenue for the company. We are all pawns
@uarmyluv0 there is talk of Korean military going to Iran. You think this is a funny fanwar but this is peopleโs real lives. BTS served & got out relatively unscathed, why are you wishing harm on any human who has to go through the same. Because of fanwars? Fuck that. Humanity comes first
@peakboytae Right? Yoongi even wrote a whole song about wanting to protect his junior idols from hate and pain that comes from idol life called โSnoozeโ, yet many from his own fandom are part of problem
People like you are the reason why literally no one ever comes to BTS defense anymore because youโre literally outside your fucking mind. This is exactly the kind of shit that reminds me that some of you are so far gone in fandom wars that you have completely lost sight of real life.
Korean military enlistment is not fucking fandom discourse. It is not a gotcha moment. It is not an opportunity for you to go back and forth about whether BTS should have enlisted, whether someone else should enlist, or whose enlistment was harder, better, more honorable, or whatever other ridiculous stan war bullshit you want to turn it into today.
This is serious. South Korea has legitimate threats that most of us sitting comfortably behind our phones will never have to directly confront. There are Korean military personnel deployed in dangerous parts of the world right now. North Korea is literally next door. Whether or not we personally believe in forced conscription is almost beside the point here. I don't have to live under the same circumstances or deal with the threats that South Koreans have to consider.
So no, I will never find it funny to tell an idol or anyone for that matter, not to cry or be upset because he has to enlist. These are actual human beings being required to step away from their lives, their careers, and their families to fulfill a military obligation. If your first instinct is to turn that into a fucking K-pop fan war, you need to seriously touch grass and reconnect with reality because youโve really lost it.
youโve let fandom wars affect u to the point of losing empathy for real people. svt have never done anything to bts, and forced conscription can be very traumatic and scary for anyone. bts being subjected to scrutiny doesnโt justify u being cruel to others in return
@potatojulia1@purplemoniee@pearlytrivia I donโt need to read through it, I was here. Itโs all fucked up. Forced conscription is evil. It was awful for bts. Itโs going to be awful for this guy. Fanwars are toxic from all sides of it. Calling me a stupid & bitch, especially when I am also army, is also toxic.
@potatojulia1@purplemoniee@pearlytrivia op is laughing at an idol about to enlist & wishing for him to suffer. I think the mentality that our guys were bullied by some random kpop fans means that we wish for him to suffer is fucked up. So that means Iโm kicked out? Should I email Weverse & get a refund due to empathy?
if you are celebrating ANY idol from ANY GROUP, whether it be BTS, SVT, or a different boy group's enlistment, BLOCK ME. forced conscription is harmful to EVERYONE. it was inhumane for BTS to go through, and it is inhumane for SVT too. do not let fanwars turn you into a monster.
@jiminiesgirly@pearlytrivia Again, how is wishing another person enlisting to suffer = defending bts? And how is thinking that it is cruel to wish that on someone = not defending bts? Op shared a man in tears who is about to enlist and hopes they suffer. There is no one dragging bts, you inserted them.
@potatojulia1@purplemoniee@pearlytrivia Lmao I donโt think Tae likes me, just saying Iโm his fan so I donโt have to remove my pfp. And Iโm not new army. Why does thinking we shouldnโt wish pain on someone equate to go me not gaf about bts? Yโall inserted bts into this which has nothing to do with them
@jiminiesgirly@pearlytrivia I completely understand & agree with defending BTS. But posting a guy in his lowest moment when he was on a live with his own fans and laughing at him and wishing him suffering and when he is about to go to a legit horrible place has nothing to do with speaking up for Bangtan
@jiminiesgirly@pearlytrivia You are so funny. You found me out, I donโt vote regularly these days. So kick me out of army. I said it was fucked up to wish suffering on another person, I donโt make posts about fanwars, and I donโt vote lately. He still thinks Iโm perfect though ๐
@jiminiesgirly@pearlytrivia My carat oppas ๐ Of course itโs all toxic!!! I donโt engage in fanwars but this came across my timeline today so I decided to call it out. Feel free to find joy in this guys suffering. Meanwhile Iโll be seeing at BTS at iheartradio in 2 weeks to cosplay againโฆ ๐คฃ
@jiminiesgirly@pearlytrivia How is it a delusion, I literally listen to their music and go to their concerts? Iโve been army since 2019. You are kind of amusing me now though because you are so sure Iโm fake lol
@jiminiesgirly@pearlytrivia Ok tell me an exact moment or song from a concert and Iโll pull it up and give it to you?? ๐คฃ There are REAL ARMY who think itโs toxic to wish suffering on other idols, I know hard to believe right?
