Manchin was the Senator for WVa which went hyper red MAGA, and liberal candidates for Senate lost by over 40 pts. So primarying him wasn't a credible threat.

@SandyofCthulhu There are good capitalist answers to this! Mostly in terms of efficiency, encouraging risk-taking (big risks deserve big rewards else they never got done), avoiding bad incentives (if the workers get the proceeds, it can make sense to understaff so everyone gets paid more).

And given the Indiana primaries, any legislatures that refused to go along would be punished by the voters! The only thing that'd make Senators more independent are voters.

(This is not an endorsement of Israel, but just the left position wasn't that popular.)

@MartinJuza I did many drafts in a Cube with these Conspiracies and it's less fun than you'd think. The correct thing to do is draft them to the exclusion of anything else, especially Adv. Proc. and Backup Plan. They don't cost a slot which makes the games more about conspiracies than decks.

The Germans only committed a fraction of the resources to Italy they did to the USSR and still stalled the Allies fine.
